Hi there,

I’ve been passionate about action sports since I was a child. Growing up, I was an avid skier from the age of four, and by ten, I was inspired by the X-Games and took up snowboarding. My first experience was tough—falling was painful, and I swore I’d never snowboard again. But the second time, something clicked, and I fell in love with the sport but it was still tough. By the age of 16, I became a certified snowboard instructor to share my passion with others.

Like many riders, I soon realized that the pain from falls was a significant barrier for people to fully embrace action sports over the long term. As I grew older, I found myself facing the same issue—the pain from falls was becoming increasingly intense, particularly in my glutes.

Rather than giving up the sport I love, I began experimenting with various impact shorts and padded base layers on the market, but nothing provided the protection I needed. I was still experiencing too much pain upon impact.

Determined to continue snowboarding, I decided to design a better solution. After three years of extensive research, testing, and numerous prototypes, I created the AirAction padded base layer. By integrating slim airbag technology, I was able to boost glute protection by 50 times! While also adding enhanced shin and knee protection.

AirAction was born out of my desire to make action sports more enjoyable, safer, and health-conscious. With AirAction, you can experience a smoother, more comfortable ride and feel, confident knowing that you’re better protected.
