Hi,

I grew up skiing since I was 4, heavily influenced by the X-Games, I started snowboarding when I was 10.  My first experience snowboarding was so painful! I never wanted to do it again, but I did, and the second time I fell in love! So much so that I became a certified instructor at 16 to share my passion for snowboarding with newcomers.

Similar to my own experience, I quickly realized how much pain from falling was a barrier for people to get behind action sports long term.

Then I turned 30 and realized that the pain from falling was getting too intense, especially on my glutes! 

I could have stopped riding but instead I tried out all kinds of impact shorts and padded base layer products on the market and unfortunately all of them failed to provide adequate protection!  I was still experiencing way too much pain when I fell.

So that I can continue having fun snowboarding, the sport I love so much, I decided I could design a better padded base layer!

With over three years of intense research and design, after several prototypes, I came up with an amazing design that worked!  By incorporating a slim airbag, I made the glute impact protection ability 50 times better!  I also added shin and knee protection!
